We publish our electronic newsletter hoping to cover part of the reality of the Palestinian rural society and what UAWC offers to the agricultural sector aiming at the achievement of sustainable development.

We are pleased to develop this electronic newsletter so as to reach to a larger number of Palestinians and internationals as well. Our aim is to express the voice of Palestinian farmers and rural society.

We have chosen the title 'Farmers' Voice' because we believe that Palestinian farmers are the ones most affected by the the Israeli occupation's policies, such as land confiscation, the construction of the Apartheid Wall, bypass roads, the construction of settlements, land confiscation, demolishing houses, uprooting trees, imposing siege and closure, division of the West Bank into small cantons, flooding Palestinian markets with Israeli products, and other policies practiced everyday to marginalize farmers and impoverish them.
