UAWC carries out a solidarity activity with farmers in Dura
The Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) carried out a solidarity activity with farmers in the Dura village that included planting seedlings in the threatened lands adjacent to the settlement of Nikhot with the participation of about 130 volunteers and volunteers.
the participants participated in planting trees on a land with 5 dunam and cleaning and painting in the streets of the town, followed by an open conversation with the farmers about the area and the daily violations they face.
This event was organized within the framework of "Defend of Farmers' and Fishermen's Rights ", which aims to organize farmers, fishermen and small producers in a strong representative body that can defend/protect the rights of small-scale farmers and fishermen to access their land and water resources and ensure their freedom of movement. The project works to enable farmers in the West Bank and Gaza Strip to access and defend their lands and resources, in addition to enabling farmers and fishermen in the West Bank and Gaza to defend their rights and be active in the community and national issues.
