UAWC announced the winners of the Master's degree scholarships
The Union of Agricultural Work Committees (UAWC) announced the winners of the Master's Degree in Sustainable Development, which will be pursued at Al-Quds University. These grants are part of the program of " Strengthening UAWC's Local Seed Bank " .
The methodology followed for the selection of beneficiaries from postgraduate grants
The grant was announced through UAWC's website, Facebook, and on several local news sites. Several radio and television interviews were conducted through the local stations. The filling form was also prepared to facilitate the process.
260 requests for grants have been received. Duplicate and incomplete applications that were submitted from outside the West Bank were excluded at the beginning. Hence, non-conforming applications were excluded such as: (less than very good estimate, age of more than 30 years, Bachelor's degree different from the disciplines previously identified).
Select the shortlist for interviews:
Due to the high number of applicants and the great competition between them and the fact that the number of seats (grants) that are available are limited, UAWC worked together to formulate a filtering mechanism that helped to create a short list of applicants and then interviews were conducted with the short list.
Interview and Selection Committee:
UAWC was formed a number of qualified professionals from various West Bank universities who have extensive experience in this field, in addition to a representative of the Union of Agricultural Work Committees.
